What is FX Road Map?
This web site is a blog to accompany the LiveConnect service from Forexmentor. The blog will provide announcements about the service but also tips for improving your trading methodology. We’ll feature specific examples from the LiveConnect chat room and show you update videos from Forexmentor.
What is LiveConnect?
Forexmentor’s LiveConnect service is aimed at helping traders of all skill levels to perfect their trading. The chat room gives access to professional traders as well as other members with varying skill levels, giving you the opportunity to learn and improve with others. There are trade examples and a pre-London preview video every morning. Below are some frequently asked questions about the LiveConnect service, answered by Forexmentor’s Jarratt Davis.
How many trade set ups are discussed during a trading session?
I encourage everyone to select just one or two trade set ups for themselves to trade each session.
However each member is encouraged to discuss their set ups with myself and the rest of the community, so there could be 5 – 8 trade set ups during a session, but on the whole expect 2 or 3 to be discussed.
Which trading session do you focus on?
I personally trade the London session, and so most of the trades I take and examples that I give are taken from that session. However the methods that I teach can be applied to any trading session that you want. And the chat room is during the North American session for you to chat to traders that are active at the same times as you.
How do members interact with the moderators?
The moderators will be clearly identified in the chat room, so if you wish to ask a question or discuss something feel free to start a conversation with them….. If you keep the chats to the public area of the chat room the whole community can benefit from them. During the live webinar sessions there will be an opportunity to send typed messages so that both I and the whole group can see them. Moderators will also help out in these chats too if on hand to do so.
Will you support voice broadcast?
The live webinar sessions are something that will be all voice broadcast, so if you type a question, I will answer it by voice with the visual aid of my charts etc… The chat room has a voice feature, it will mainly be type text so information can be archived and retrieved easily, but if there are a lot of people in there asking questions at any specific times it may be more feasible for me to connect via voice, in order to make sure everyone’s points get covered etc…
What kind of assistance will members be receiving?
The whole purpose of the Forexmentor LiveConnect is to help you become a consistently profitable trader. To do this I will give you my personal approach to trading along with my trade management concepts and risk management viewpoint.
I will also help you to apply the methods that I teach in a way that suits you and guide you with any issues that you have in your trading right now. I have been where you are right now and have designed this service around the fact that I know what kind of service I would have appreciated during my own learning and development.
I aim to provide a clear trading methodology and then help you stay focused and on track in trading it, through live interaction, live webinars, archived trading examples and experiences of fellow members.
Do you recommend exact entry prices?
I present my trading set up in a clear and easy to understand way, to such an extent that you will be able to easily identify trading opportunities including entries without any specific recommendations from me.
I aim to give clear help with determining direction and entry points, what I encourage you to make your own is the management of your trades. This is because each person is different and has differing circumstances etc…
But I will also guide you as much as I can on this also until you are completely comfortable in your trading.
Can I join your room anytime and be able to retrieve logs so I don’t miss anything?
All webinar sessions will be recorded and archived for all members to reference back through. I will also add trading examples on an ongoing basis, again for your continual education and reference.
Also the chat history from the chat room can be retrieved anytime you join for you to go through at your convenience.
What methods do you mainly focus on?
I have two core set ups that I trade on a daily basis, the Pivot zone trade and the trend trade. These methods can be applied in your own trading a number of different ways, and it’s more the core concepts of correct market direction and confluences of support and resistance that I try and encourage everyone to take on board.
How do I learn your methods and set ups?
I have recorded several introductory videos demonstrating each set up, and I will continually be adding trading examples that you can go over anytime you wish to reinforce each set up and what to specifically look for.
There is also the chat room where you can ask me or the moderators any questions that you have on the subject. If there is something really specific that you just don’t understand simply let me know and I will aim to cover it in the live webinar session using my charts and voice, to give a clearer explanation. These sessions will also be recorded and archived.
